While I was home helping my parents move into my house in town last month, I was able to get another check off my list. My friends, Christine and Jon, and I drove up a dirt road to the very top of the mountain. On one side of the road you have rock/dirt wall and the other was a straight shot down the mountain. Christine afraid of heights would make funny remarks that made us all laugh. Jon and Christine made it memorable. Up at the top you are able to see Port Angeles, Sequim and the Strait. It is such a beautiful sight, no words can describe it. We got up there in time to watch the sun setting. I just sat on the rock and took in the scenery! I didn't want to leave but it gets windy and very cold up there!
